Beautiful to live on.
Hard on a home.
A coastal property is an asset under constant attack. The difference between a finish that lasts three years and one that lasts fifteen isn't the colour on the tin. It's what happens before it's opened. Here's what we do differently, and what it's like to have us on the job.
"A finish is only ever as good as the preparation under it."
The Salt Coast standard
Three forces, one envelope
The coast attacks a home from three directions at once. We treat each one deliberately, rather than hoping a good topcoat covers all of it. It's the reason a Salt Coast finish outlasts a standard repaint.
Salt air
Salt carried off the water is relentless, settling into every porous surface, drawing moisture back in, and weakening the bond between wall and coating from inside out. We remove it, treat and seal before a coat of paint goes on.
Hard UV
The WA sun is among the harshest on earth. Left unaccounted for, it chalks topcoats, fades pigment and degrades binding agents faster than almost any other climate. We specify UV-stable systems built to handle it.
Driven weather
Winter southerlies don't just bring rain. They drive moisture into every fine crack in the envelope. We fill, prime and seal the whole skin so there's nowhere for water to enter and no path for salt to follow.
Preparation is the product
Anyone can roll on a topcoat. What decides whether it lasts is the unglamorous work underneath: washing salt out of the substrate, repairing and stabilising, priming and sealing the envelope. That is where we spend our time, because that is what you're actually paying for.
It's also why we quote from a walkthrough, not a photo. We need to read the surfaces before we can tell you what protecting them properly will take.
Considered from first visit to final coat
The same four stages on every project, residential or commercial, so you always know exactly what happens next.
Walkthrough & fixed quote
We visit the property, look at every surface properly, and give you one considered, fixed price. No estimates that grow.
Preparation
Washing, stripping, filling, sanding, priming, sealing. The unglamorous work that decides how long the finish lasts.
Coastal-grade coatings
Premium systems matched to each surface and its exposure: UV-stable, salt-tolerant, breathable where the substrate needs it.
Handover & care
A final walkthrough together, touch-ups on the spot, and a simple care guide so the finish keeps performing.

Predictable, by design
No surprise variations
The quote is the price. The only time it changes is if you change the scope, and we agree that with you in writing first.
Tidy sites, plain comms
You always know who is coming, when, and what they are doing. The property is left clean at the end of every day.
We don’t rush the prep
If the substrate needs to dry or a repair needs to cure, it waits. Painting over a problem to hit a date is how finishes fail early.
"Meticulous from the first walkthrough to the final clean-up."

The coast doesn't stop. The plan shouldn't either.
A finished job is only the starting point on the coast. Salt, UV and weather begin working on it the moment we leave. A maintenance plan keeps what we've done performing, catching the small things before they become expensive ones, and keeping your home ahead of the conditions rather than constantly reacting to them.
See how a maintenance plan works →Keep your home ahead of the coast, not chasing it.
You wait for paint to peel, render to bubble, metal to rust, then react to damage that's been spreading for months.
We catch it before it shows, while every fix is still small, cheap and quick, and you never lift a finger to manage it.
Launching early 2027.
Salt Coast launches in early 2027. Register your interest now and you're first in line: first to be mapped, first on the schedule when visits begin. No obligation.
Thank you.
You're on the list. We'll confirm by email, keep you posted as launch approaches, and your property will be among the first mapped when visits begin in early 2027.
