Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Salt Coast Group Pty Ltd (ABN 55 699 229 322) collects through saltcoast.com.au and in the course of providing our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles. Last updated September 2026.

What we collect

Enquiries and quotes. When you contact us or request a quote we collect the details you provide: your name, phone number, email address, property address, a description of your project, and any plans or photos you attach. We use these to respond to you, assess the work and prepare your quote.

The maintenance guide. If you request our coastal maintenance guide we collect your email address to send it, along with occasional coastal maintenance reminders as described at the point of signup, no more than a few times a year. You can stop these at any time by replying to any email or using the unsubscribe link.

Clients and the property register. If you become a client we keep records of the work we do for you: quotes, job details, invoices, photographs of the surfaces we assess and treat, and the condition notes that let us remind you when maintenance falls due. This is core to how we deliver ongoing coastal maintenance.

Calls and messages. Business calls may be recorded for record-keeping and training; where calls are recorded you will hear a notice first. SMS conversations with us are retained with your customer record so we have the history of what was discussed and agreed.

Website analytics. We use Google Tag Manager and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used (pages visited, how you found us) so we can improve it. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you personally. Our forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes limited technical data to filter spam.

How your information is stored

We use reputable service providers to run the business, including our website host, job management, accounting and payment platforms. Some providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure providers we use protect personal information to the standards that apply in Australia.

What we do not do

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. We do not send you marketing you have not asked for.

Access, correction and complaints

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete information we do not need to keep. Contact hello@saltcoast.com.au. If you have a privacy concern we cannot resolve, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
